Students Against Violence in Tanzania is the youth leadership initiative of Children Hope Organization. the aim is to empower young leaders to take an active role in increasing school safety and preventing different forms of violence in schools and communities.

SAFE YOUTHCLUB is a comprehensive and empowering project designed to address and combat violence among school Children. This initiative aims to create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for students, enabling them to navigate challenges, build resilience, and develop leadership skills. The project combines education, life skills training, psychological support, and leadership development to foster a generation of confident, capable, and empowered youths.

Safe Youth Club Objectives.

Children Hope Organization is aiming to Combat Gender Based Violence among students through.

  • Addressing capacity of community and government leaders, local institutions leaders and faith leaders to respond and advocate against GBV.
  • Reducing incidences of GBV within the community (physical violence, Sexual violence, emotional violence, economic violence).
  • Increasing capacity of students and community to report on GBV issues within their community.
  • Increasing capacity of community structures and groups (committees, groups, sports and games clubs) to support advocate against GBV.
  • Increasing enrolment and completion of girls in primary and secondary schools
  • Increasing awareness to community on the impact related to Child marriages and pregnancies.
